And now it came to pass that when Jesus had said thesewords he said unto them again, after he had expounded allthe scriptures unto them which they had received, he saidunto them:MormonSee Isa. 54:1-17Land of BountifulA.D. 34Behold, other scriptures I would that ye should write, that ye havenot.Jesus Christ7 And it came to pass that he said unto Nephi:MormonBring forth the record which ye have kept.Jesus Christ8 And when Nephi had brought forth the records, and laidthem before him, he cast his eyes upon them and said:Mormon9 Verily I say unto you, I commanded my servant Samuel, theLamanite, that he should testify unto this people, that at the daythat the Father should glorify his name in me that there were manysaints who should arise from the dead, and should appear untomany, and should minister unto them.Jesus ChristAnd he said unto them:MormonWas it not so?Jesus Christ10 And his disciples answered him and said:MormonYea, Lord, Samuel did prophesy according to thy words, and theywere all fulfilled.Disciples11 And Jesus said unto them:MormonHow be it that ye have not written this thing, that many saints didarise and appear unto many and did minister unto them?Jesus Christ12 And it came to pass that Nephi remembered that thisthing had not been written.Mormon13 And it came to pass that Jesus commanded that it shouldbe written; therefore it was written according as hecommanded.14 And now it came to pass that when Jesus had expoundedall the scriptures in one, which they had written, hecommanded them that they should teach the things whichhe had expounded unto them.
