And it came to pass that when they had all given glory untoJesus, he said unto them:MormonSee Isa. 52:8-10Land of BountifulA.D. 34Behold now I finish the commandment which the Father hathcommanded me concerning this people, who are a remnant of thehouse of Israel. 11 Ye remember that I spake unto you, and saidthat when the words of Isaiah should be fulfilled—behold they arewritten, ye have them before you, therefore search them— 12 Andverily, verily, I say unto you, that when they shall be fulfilled thenis the fulfilling of the covenant which the Father hath made untohis people, O house of Israel. 13 And then shall the remnants, which shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth, begathered in from the east and from the west, and from the southand from the north; and they shall be brought to the knowledge ofthe Lord their God, who hath redeemed them.Jesus Christ14 And the Father hath commanded me that I should give unto youthis land, for your inheritance. 15 And I say unto you, that if theGentiles do not repent after the blessing which they shall receive, after they have scattered my people— 16 Then shall ye, who are aremnant of the house of Jacob, go forth among them; and ye shallbe in the midst of them who shall be many; and ye shall be amongthem as a lion among the beasts of the forest, and as a young lionamong the flocks of sheep, who, if he goeth through both treadethdown and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. 17 Thy handshall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemiesshall be cut off. 18 And I will gather my people together as a mangathereth his sheaves into the floor. 19 For I will make my peoplewith whom the Father hath covenanted, yea, I will make thy horniron, and I will make thy hoofs brass. And thou shalt beat in piecesmany people; and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, andtheir substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. And behold, I amhe who doeth it.20 And it shall come to pass,The Fathersaith the Father,Jesus Christthat the sword of my justice shall hang over them at that day;and except they repent it shall fall upon them,The Fathersaith the Father,Jesus Christyea, even upon all the nations of the Gentiles. The Father21 And it shall come to pass that I will establish my people, Ohouse of Israel. 22 And behold, this people will I establish in thisland, unto the fulfilling of the covenant which I made with yourfather Jacob; and it shall be a New Jerusalem. And the powers ofJesus Christ heaven shall be in the midst of this people; yea, even I will be inthe midst of you. 23 Behold, I am he of whom Moses spake, saying:Jesus ChristSee Isa. 52:8-10Land of BountifulA.D. 34A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of yourbrethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all thingswhatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass thatevery soul who will not hear that prophet shall be cut off fromamong the people.MosesSee Deut.18:18-1924 Verily I say unto you, yea, and all the prophets from Samueland those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have testifiedof me. 25 And behold, ye are the children of the prophets; and yeare of the house of Israel; and ye are of the covenant which theFather made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham:Jesus ChristAnd in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. The Father26 The Father having raised me up unto you first, and sent me tobless you in turning away every one of you from his iniquities; andthis because ye are the children of the covenant— 27 And after thatye were blessed then fulfilleth the Father the covenant which hemade with Abraham, saying:Jesus ChristIn thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed—The Fatherunto the pouring out of the Holy Ghost through me upon theGentiles, which blessing upon the Gentiles shall make themmighty above all, unto the scattering of my people, O house ofIsrael. 28 And they shall be a scourge unto the people of this land.Nevertheless, when they shall have received the fulness of mygospel,Jesus Christthen if they shall harden their hearts against me I will returntheir iniquities upon their own heads,The Fathersaith the Father.Jesus Christ29 And I will remember the covenant which I have made withmy people; and I have covenanted with them that I would gatherthem together in mine own due time, that I would give untothem again the land of their fathers for their inheritance, whichis the land of Jerusalem, which is the promised land unto themforever,The Fathersaith the Father. 30 And it shall come to pass that the time cometh, when the fulness of my gospel shall be preached unto them; 31And they shall believe in me, that I am Jesus Christ, the Son ofGod, and shall pray unto the Father in my name. 32 Then shalltheir watchmen lift up their voice, and with the voice togethershall they sing; for they shall see eye to eye. 33 Then will theFather gather them together again, and give unto them Jerusalemfor the land of their inheritance. 34 Then shall they break forth intoJesus Christ joy—Sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the Fatherhath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. 35 TheFather hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations;and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of the Father;and the Father and I are one. 36 And then shall be brought to passthat which is written:Jesus ChristSee Deut.18:18-19Land of BountifulA.D. 34Awake, awake again, and put on thy strength, O Zion; put onthy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city, forhenceforth there shall no more come into thee theuncircumcised and the unclean. 37 Shake thyself from the dust;arise, sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thyneck, O captive daughter of Zion. 38 For thus saith the Lord:IsaiahSee Isa. 52:1-15Ye have sold yourselves for naught, and ye shall be redeemedwithout money. 39 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that mypeople shall know my name; yea, in that day they shall knowthat I am he that doth speak. The Lord40 And then shall they say:IsaiahHow beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him thatbringeth good tidings unto them, that publisheth peace; thatbringeth good tidings unto them of good, that publishethsalvation; that saith unto Zion: Thy God reigneth!People41 And then shall a cry go forth:IsaiahDepart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch not thatwhich is unclean; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye cleanthat bear the vessels of the Lord. The Lord42 For ye shall not go out with haste nor go by flight; for theLord will go before you, and the God of Israel shall be yourrearward. 43 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently; he shallbe exalted and extolled and be very high. 44 As many wereastonished at thee—his visage was so marred, more than anyman, and his form more than the sons of men— 45 So shall hesprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him,for that which had not been told them shall they see; and thatwhich they had not heard shall they consider.Isaiah46 Verily, verily, I say unto you, all these things shall surely come, even as the Father hath commanded me. Then shall this covenantwhich the Father hath covenanted with his people be fulfilled; andthen shall Jerusalem be inhabited again with my people, and itshall be the land of their inheritance.Jesus Christ1 AND verily I say unto you, I give unto you a sign, that ye mayknow the time when these things shall be about to take place—thatI shall gather in, from their long dispersion, my people, O house ofIsrael, and shall establish again among them my Zion; 2 Andbehold, this is the thing which I will give unto you for a sign—for verily I say unto you that when these things which I declare untoyou, and which I shall declare unto you hereafter of myself, and bythe power of the Holy Ghost which shall be given unto you of theFather, shall be made known unto the Gentiles that they may knowconcerning this people who are a remnant of the house of Jacob, and concerning this my people who shall be scattered by them;Jesus ChristSee Isa. 52:1-15Land of BountifulA.D. 343 Verily, verily, I say unto you, when these things shall be madeknown unto them of the Father, and shall come forth of the Father, from them unto you; 4 For it is wisdom in the Father that theyshould be established in this land, and be set up as a free people bythe power of the Father, that these things might come forth fromthem unto a remnant of your seed, that the covenant of the Fathermay be fulfilled which he hath covenanted with his people, Ohouse of Israel; 5 Therefore, when these works and the workswhich shall be wrought among you hereafter shall come forth fromthe Gentiles, unto your seed which shall dwindle in unbeliefbecause of iniquity; 6 For thus it behooveth the Father that itshould come forth from the Gentiles, that he may show forth hispower unto the Gentiles, for this cause that the Gentiles, if theywill not harden their hearts, that they may repent and come untome and be baptized in my name and know of the true points of mydoctrine, that they may be numbered among my people, O houseof Israel;7 And when these things come to pass that thy seed shall begin toknow these things—it shall be a sign unto them, that they mayknow that the work of the Father hath already commenced unto thefulfilling of the covenant which he hath made unto the people whoare of the house of Israel. 8 And when that day shall come, it shallcome to pass that kings shall shut their mouths; for that which hadnot been told them shall they see; and that which they had notheard shall they consider. 9 For in that day, for my sake shall theFather work a work, which shall be a great and a marvelous workamong them; and there shall be among them those who will notbelieve it, although a man shall declare it unto them. 10 Butbehold, the life of my servant shall be in my hand; therefore theyshall not hurt him, although he shall be marred because of them.Yet I will heal him, for I will show unto them that my wisdom isgreater than the cunning of the devil.11 Therefore it shall come to pass that whosoever will not believein my words, who am Jesus Christ, which the Father shall causehim to bring forth unto the Gentiles, and shall give unto him powerthat he shall bring them forth unto the Gentiles, (it shall be doneeven as Moses said) they shall be cut off from among my peoplewho are of the covenant. 12 And my people who are a remnant ofJacob shall be among the Gentiles, yea, in the midst of them as alion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among theflocks of sheep, who, if he go through both treadeth down andteareth in pieces, and none can deliver. 13 Their hand shall belifted up upon their adversaries, and all their enemies shall be cutoff. 14 Yea, wo be unto the Gentiles except they repent; for it shallcome to pass in that day,The FatherSee Isa. 52:1-15Land of BountifulA.D. 34saith the Father,Jesus Christthat I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I willdestroy thy chariots; 15 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strongholds; 16 And I will cut offwitchcrafts out of thy land, and thou shalt have no moresoothsayers; 17 Thy graven images I will also cut off, and thystanding images out of the midst of thee, and thou shalt no moreworship the works of thy hands; 18 And I will pluck up thygroves out of the midst of thee; so will I destroy thy cities. 19And it shall come to pass that all lyings, and deceivings, andenvyings, and strifes, and priestcrafts, and whoredoms, shall bedone away. 20 For it shall come to pass,The Fathersaith the Father,Jesus Christthat at that day whosoever will not repent and come unto myBeloved Son, them will I cut off from among my people, Ohouse of Israel; 21 And I will execute vengeance and fury uponthem, even as upon the heathen, such as they have not heard. The Father22 But if they will repent and hearken unto my words, and hardennot their hearts, I will establish my church among them, and theyshall come in unto the covenant and be numbered among this theremnant of Jacob, unto whom I have given this land for theirinheritance; 23 And they shall assist my people, the remnant ofJacob, and also as many of the house of Israel as shall come, thatthey may build a city, which shall be called the New Jerusalem. 24And then shall they assist my people that they may be gathered in,who are scattered upon all the face of the land, in unto the NewJerusalem. 25 And then shall the power of heaven come downamong them; and I also will be in the midst. 26 And then shall thework of the Father commence at that day, even when this gospelshall be preached among the remnant of this people. Verily I sayunto you, at that day shall the work of the Father commenceamong all the dispersed of my people, yea, even the tribes whichhave been lost, which the Father hath led away out of Jerusalem.27 Yea, the work shall commence among all the dispersed of mypeople, with the Father to prepare the way whereby they maycome unto me, that they may call on the Father in my name. 28Yea, and then shall the work commence, with the Father among allnations in preparing the way whereby his people may be gatheredhome to the land of their inheritance.Jesus Christ29 And they shall go out from all nations; and they shall not goout in haste, nor go by flight, for I will go before them,The Fathersaith the Father,Jesus Christand I will be their rearward. The Father1 AND then shall that which is written come to pass:Jesus Christ Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth intosinging, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child;for more are the children of the desolate than the children ofthe married wife,The LordSee Isa. 54:1-17Land of BountifulA.D. 34saith the Lord. 2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let themstretch forth the curtains of thy habitations; spare not, lengthenthy cords and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forthon the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit theGentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. 4 Fear not,for thou shalt not be ashamed; neither be thou confounded, forthou shalt not be put to shame; for thou shalt forget the shameof thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood anymore. 5 For thy maker, thy husband, the Lord of Hosts is hisname; and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel—the God ofthe whole earth shall he be called.Isaiah6 For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken andgrieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wastrefused,Godsaith thy God.Isaiah7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee, but with greatmercies will I gather thee. 8 In a little wrath I hid my facefrom thee for a moment, but with everlasting kindness will Ihave mercy on thee,The Lordsaith the Lord thy Redeemer.Isaiah9 For this, the waters of Noah unto me, for as I have swornthat the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, sohave I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee. 10 For themountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but mykindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall thecovenant of my peace be removed,The Lordsaith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.Isaiah11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted!Behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thyfoundations with sapphires. 12 And I will make thy windowsof agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders ofpleasant stones. 13 And all thy children shall be taught of theLord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. 14 Inrighteousness shalt thou be established; thou shalt be far fromoppression for thou shalt not fear, and from terror for it shallnot come near thee. 15 Behold, they shall surely gathertogether against thee, not by me; whosoever shall gathertogether against thee shall fall for thy sake. 16 Behold, I havecreated the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and thatbringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have createdthe waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed againstThe Lord thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall revile againstthee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage ofthe servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me,The LordSee Isa. 54:1-17Land of BountifulA.D. 34saith the Lord.Isaiah1 AND now, behold, I say unto you, that ye ought to search thesethings. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search thesethings diligently; for great are the words of Isaiah. 2 For surely hespake as touching all things concerning my people which are ofthe house of Israel; therefore it must needs be that he must speakalso to the Gentiles. 3 And all things that he spake have been andshall be, even according to the words which he spake. 4 Thereforegive heed to my words; write the things which I have told you; andaccording to the time and the will of the Father they shall go forthunto the Gentiles. 5 And whosoever will hearken unto my wordsand repenteth and is baptized, the same shall be saved. Search theprophets, for many there be that testify of these things.Jesus Christ
